Now that the warm weather is here to stay, I plan on using my bike to get around more often. A favorite summertime activity for Ava and me is to ride our bikes to watch the sunset.

Tonight after we finished eating and cleaning up the kitchen, we grabbed our bikes and headed to the back river. There are several nice places to watch the sunset here, but our favorite is over the marsh on the back river. This is the cheapest and one of the most rewarding activities that we can do, especially together. We both took pictures and laughed and talked a lot. This makes me smile.

Ava picked dandelions and blew them making wishes. I am making a wish tonight too, well more of a prayer. I pray that the memories we are making right now stick with each of our kids throughout their lives. I pray that they can reflect upon the good times and memories and see how God’s faithfulness has met us and provided for us each step of the way.

There isn’t a day that goes by, when Sean and I are not thankful for being led to this crazy little island, filled with fun and quirky people that we now know and love. It’s pretty bizarre to think that only four years ago, we didn’t know of Tybee’s existence, nor did we know anyone here. Now, I can’t imagine life without it or our Tybee family. Tybee is truly a magical place that we are so happy to call home.
